My guide to the most valuable tools for approaching Visual Design projects (Colours, Typography and Icons).
Having a background as a graphic designer, I stopped continuing to deliver visual works without an adequate why.
Since I started 3 years ago with the UX Design, I’m all still in constant contact with the estetichs of our digital solutions.
The limit of thinking only about screens is as dangerous as not really thinking about it.
Where we are now
I noticed that there are a lot of tools that help in many different ways
- giving inspiration
- speeding up processes
- offering alternative solutions
No matter what kind of Designer you are. You have got to deal with pixels
You are flexible in understanding how deeply you want to analyze these aspects, but you will always have to take this into account with the visual.
So, I hope you can orient yourself in your work and choose your tools tailored to your needs.
What your visual works should always include, from a broad prospective
ColorNinja is my favourite tool when I have to create, choose and manage colours palettes.
I spent hours brainstorming on colors.
Starting from the colours.
I want you to know the ethical and moral importance that we must have in making accessible design.
This tool helps you to search, save and improve your color palette from scratch. Immediately and easily.
I have never found an app with the Undo function integrated in the use of colors, and there are all the convention systems (HEX, HSL …).
✅ It works for me because :
- I save a lot of time
- I no longer lose a color
- I can quickly test and validate the palette
